The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.
SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the superior variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is status sassa often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company level made for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out website programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to empower the servicing of all prospects and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
